Hello all again ...well im back at things where i left off a year ago.....redone my shop, hoist is in ...Time to finish my ranger...been a long summer no time to complete the engine swap but im looking forward to hearing it run again...lots to do on it still im kinda mad i didnt get to drive it this...

Anything can be done if you...and i mean you are able.....would i...no...They can also be bagged no problem if you know what your doin....easyer to just buy a shortbox....and forget about bagin it...

ALSO fORD RACEING MAKES A NICE adapter too........But do what i did, and go to a hose crimping place ,,farm eqp dealer etc and get new hoses made with swivels on each end ...worry free oil lines for life , no hose clamps , or thin cracking crappy lines ....also they are steel braided..

..Dont worry about it...just take it to a rack shop ..set the toe and center the steering wheel and go home...less than a hour and dont think about it anymore.cheap too.

hhmmmm....Sorry but i think i would have to have someone check out my man hood if i didnt have my truck loud,loud loud.....nuttin better then a cam,d engine when ya get on it hard...cats here are manditory so we have to live with that ...flowmaster type mufflers are as far as i go,,or cherrie bombs....

Ok ya i think i will just get a exaust shop to finnishthe job....im running stock mustang headers and hope to run stock down H cat pipe too....to after that il get it custom made i guess ..thats for the replys.

Hey does anyone know if there is a kit, cat back type thing avalible for first gen rangers?...i just want some nice already made tail pipes ..im talking about duel pipes..Thanks

Got my 302 and m5od in the truck tonight....fits nice had to drill one hole. used mustang mounts....swapping from a 351 and a c6 ..to a 302 and truck 5 speed is easy as pie..plus it would seem since i notched the frame last year i can use stock mustang headers...everything seems to be fitting good.....

Id try slipping the tranny back off the engine a bit and try a diffrent flex plate mabe?...like a OEM one ...idunno,,im tapped out of ideas...

...Well paul i didnt see in your post that it was a full rebuild ,....that said you still have a problem,...if the crank is where it should be than your flex plate is the wrong one, because the flex plates ring gear will be almost a half inch away from that shield i think, or their is some other unf...

Id bet the above poster would be right,,,,302s are known to wear the thrust bearing out causeing the crank to walk ive seen 302s with auto trannys on them have crank walk up to 3/4 of a inch....grab the crank pully with the belt off and see if you can pull it in and out....

...If i was you i would ditch the springs..for your ride air bags is the only way to go,a couple hundred pounds far out weights banging every curb ,speed bump etc,,,up and down at the flick of a switch.......also here my insurance coumpany would laugh and point at me if i did all that to my truck......

Yup..hhmm..i dont know what to think on this one,strip truck yes ...road truck no...that winsor would have and does fit very nicely with out the mustang clip idea,ive done it...lowering their are also good options for the i beam drop spindles etc...idunno....grafting frames scares me...But its not m...
