I have been brainstormng, and since I already have a billet grille in my 90 model. I'm gonna get rid of the headlights and assembly and start on making my own phantom grille and use old style headlights too. will post progress.

by far best grill for 82-88 ranger is called phantom grille. I'm so close to changing my 90 front end over, just to use this grille. airbagit.com has the grille. below is a pic of one

My 331 dynoed at 370rwhp, I ran et streets, and nitto drag radials and never had a problem with traction..

well, i have two set, one are duff and the others are block huggers, the duff are for a 4wd ranger with a 302 and the other work in 2wd, i just had them on my ranger, just took motor out , i got a t70 turbo kit with turbo headers so i dont need these anymore, and they are 1 5/8 also, cuz i had 1 1/2...

hey i have a set of 1/58 shorty headers made for a 4x4 ranger with a body lift, i bought them off ebay and the seller didn't say they was for a 4x4, price 175 shipped i paid little over 200. pm if inter. i can get some pics.

thought i'd thow in my experience, i used 1 1/2 hooker headers with a set of header flanges on my gt40 p heads down fall is two sets of header gaskets and notch the frame passenger side 1/8 inch, don;t have to but i did so i could take the heads of and leave headers in place.

i don't know but they are shorties and i looked at my other ranger(88 4x4 with a 3inch body and a 302,they look like they would easily fit. i'm guessing they fit both. thanks

the older square lightnings weren't supercharged they were okay quick, better for pulling. the newer ones are rated like 380hp, hey cgrey if ya put 373's in yours with that five speed, ya would be tickle to death, i'm switching to 308 or 327 cuz my 351 turbo motor will spool faster with less gear, p...
