Yes, It was edited. I blame the skall (beer) and my rush to post for the typo. It is in fact an '89 ext cab shortbox'

Sorry for lack of posts, been busy and driving myself crazy looking for parts all over the Ia,Mn, Wi area.

still used the PH8A, but this is what I did..... The adaptercap (on the motor) with 2, 90 deg. fittings, pointing twords the front of the truck, 2.5 feet of hydraulic hose with steel braid, and the filter mount bracket mounted to the outside framerail just behind the core support. I hadnt researched the viabilty of a mod swap, but after the headaches the 302 gave I figured it wouldnt be that much worse. I have a mig and plaz so I wasnt too worried about it. Mine was done with a cheap jc whitney adapter and 2 brass 90 deg fittings. Even with the fittings there was only 1/4" of clearance, and the motor had to be jacked up 3" to install them. Straight lines will fit, but with acceleration, will rub and cause an oil leak. (learned the hard way) M...

Here we go again..

This is KEV from the old boards circa 2000-2001. Got the old '87/306/c4 done, and sold....then the bug bit me again. This time I picked up an 89 ext cab with bad rear brakes for $100. Guess what the 1st thing that popped into my head was? *evil laugh I remember the massive amounts of parts bardering...
