I got the rear shocks installed today, there were no installation instructions with the kit so I had to wing it  ....Didn't go too bad, I'll have to take the axle to work so I can use the stick welder to finish welding the lower shock brackets on the axle. They are so close to the 4 link brac...

Here's a little update, we spent about 3.5 hrs working on the Ranger this morning, the F-inlaw replaced the front brakes with new pads, rotors, hoses and bearings. I mounted the line lock and bent/flared the front lines and the line from the M/C to the line lock. I need to get some 1/8NPT-3/16"...

Interior Rollbar install - Anyone here got one installed

I haven't bought my 8pt rollbar kit for the Ranger yet, I was wondering if anyone here has bought a kit from Jeg's or Art Morrision's???? I'm looking for some installed pic's to get an idea of how they were mounted. I can get a rollbar custom bent from Bear's Performance in Ontario for about $350cdn...

Headers ford a 351W in a 94

Before I buy a weld up header kit to make some long tubes for my 94, are there any LT headers on the market that are a close fit with minor mods?....I don't want to spend hundreds of $$$ on LT's when I only want one summer from them. I had a set here but once I looked at them they would be too much ...

My fuel cell will sit on the box floor for now until I gut it...I'm just cutting the hole big enough to clear the frame rails.

The 4 link is fabbed at a height for a 30" tall tire as a starting point, when I drop the truck all I have to do is cut the frame off in front of the frame brackets and lower it to the bottom of the frame brackets - that will be about a 3" drop on the frame. Then we'll drop the body on the...

Well, the frame rails are now part of the truck. All in all I think it went pretty good. Took some time to make sure everything was square and straight as best I could. I'll finish welding in the 4 link this week in the evenings. As you can see in the pic I need to put a small piece on the bottom of...

I have priced full 8.8 spools, I know what your saying and after getting a good look at the slicks it's gonna have to be a full spool....More money. .....I'm trying to avoid narrowing the axle this winter if I can - costs a lot of money to do - I built a narrowed 9" for my 63 and it cost...

He said with all things working as they should he thinks the truck should easily run low 10's!!!! ...And he thinks high 9's are possible too depending on the weight/traction/boost. He said if it doesn't run in the 11's from day one then something wil be majorly wrong....LOL....I hope he's ri...

I got my freebie 27x13x15 slicks today, gonna look killer under that thing. Looks like a 20" frame width is gonna be the ticket to fitting these things under the box. I finished welding/boxing the frame today, put my 4 link gear together and prepped my 4 link brackets to go on the rearend. As l...

I'm now the proud owner of half a Ranger....LOL.... :D...I fabbed up my drop crossmember at the stock frame, welded it in and cut off the old frame today. I still need to add a couple more beads of weld in the top edges of the CM to the stock frame and make the driveshaft loop and box the ends of th...
