I'm sellin my 1983 V8 ranger, about 17,000 on motor and trans! 306, brand new exhaust from headers to tailpipe, new intake and carb, new radiator, MSD ignition! This has been a work in process the last few months and just don't have the time or space for it anymore, it still needs a few minor things...

They are for a 302!!

I did not buy these new, they came with a truck i bought. There is some surface rust but they will clean up pretty easy. I'm selling them because i'm goin with long tube headers.

I have a set of L&L V8 swap headers for sale, they are in great condition, $200 plus shipping! I'm located in Wisconsin!

YUP!! It's getting new exhaust, it was all i had on the shelf at the time!! LOL

Ya, i know, but i'm runinn 4:10 gears, 14inch wheels, a 650cfm carb, and it's only my toy so i'm too easy on it!!! I'm sure i could tune it to get ALOT better, but that would'nt be much fun!!lol

Dave, you should hook me up with some info on where u can get a 8.8 out of a ranger for that price, I need one 4 my 83, i'm still runnin a 7.5!!

The lightning gets up to 16mpg if i'm feather footin it, but if i'm out havin fun, maybe 10??LOL I'v never really checked the ranger,i rarely drive it, i'd guess about 10??

I'd be interested, but with the price of gas, i'll prolly take the lightning!!

That is correct, I have a 83 with manual steering and manual brakes!! I use that stock 4 cyl. mounts, and I made 1/2 flat plates that bolt to the engine and drilled holes in the correct location!!I'll try to post up some pics if it will help!!

I've decided to really clean up the wiring under my hood, and bought a 1 wire alternater!!! I'm woundering if anyone else runs one or has had any problems!! I also want to relocate the battery into the box, any tips, tricks, or good suggestions would be extremely helpful!!
