It looks kin to the Ferrari or Lamborghini. I guess that was no mistake since it was designed for the sole purpose of winning LeMans. It's not a coincidence it looks kin to the ferrari. From what I've read, Ferrari was dominating at LeMans, and the GT-40 was designed for the sole purpose of competi...

speedo gears
In the past, I've had to go by the dealer and get them. They are usually in stock, and are only about 7 bucks. I've bought them and had to shorten the tip on some of them to make them work, but they are fairly universal I think. I've got just about a complete set of them from swapping tire sizes on ...

If you use a 3/8 bolt with a long shoulder on it, and cut the head off or grind it round, there will be a long section with no threads that you can put into the slave. I'm sure that's not a big deal, but seems like it would be a little nicer since the threads won't be there to grab on the rubber boo...

Radio Noise
I had the same problem with my MSD box. If I'm not mistaken MSD makes a noise supressor to kill that noise. I know I put one on mine, but I can't remember for sure if it was MSD that makes it. Try Summit, or the MSD web page and see what you can find out. Good luck. Here, I found the link for ya... ...

Slave Travel
Chris, You hit a very good point in one of your earlier posts. I used the external slave at first on my truck. I'm also running 36x16.50 tires, so you might not have slippage issues, but I'll relate my info and you can be the judge. As I said, I used the Total Performance kit, and I had to pre-load ...

What Years?
Dave, roughly what year broncos should we look for to get the Dana 44 from? I'm also interested in the 44 swap. I doubt I'll do it right away, but any info on specific year models would be helpful. Thanks.

Malcolm, from what you describe, it sounds like the belt is running up on the front of one pulley or another. Also, make sure you don't have a bent pulley somewhere, but my money is on the belt riding on the edge of a pulley, maybe because of a misalignment as Chris suggested. That would cause the w...

T5 Reverse Switch Connector
Chris, there is a round connector that has the two females that slide over the posts on the T5 Sensor. It's a flat rubber connector that has the wires coming out the side if I remember correctly. I had the connector, so I spliced that into my Ranger's wiring for the reverse sensor. It may require a ...

Diagrams
Helm Publications should have everything you need. They list the 1989 EVTM for $21 which is quite a bit cheaper than they used to be. I also checked for wiring diagrams, and they seem to be discontinued for the '89 Mustang, so you're stuck with buying the EVTM, which is a great resource for wiring a...

It's located in the LH (driver's side) front corner of the engine bay, mounted on the upper radiator support, according to the EVTM.

Tach Signal
Tach signal is T/Y. Pin 4 on Powertrain Control Module to Pin 2 on Ignition Control Module. There is also a splice in that lead that splits to the instrument cluster (Tach) and to Tachometer Service Connector. All of these wires are T/Y. I have the '94 EVTM if you need these or anything else scanned...

Crossmember
I had no such issues on my '94 4x4 Malcolm. I did use the Kaufmann headers, and they were very close to the crossmember, but they worked fine. The oil pan cleared just fine, and there is room between the crossmember to fit your hand in there if I remember correctly. There should be a few pics on my ...
