It came with the bellhousing. Clutch, slave tranny and all it cost me, about 1200. It supposedly had 60,000 or so but who knows.

Why swap?

Personally I would go with a T5 in the white truck. That would be the easiest and the cheapest. I lucked into a low mileage 95 T5 for $500 from a local mustang guy who was building a turbo car and went with a C4. I love my T5 but I wouldn't waste the money trying to mate the 5.0 to the stock tranny....

Carb

Well I haven't went as far as to changing the accellerator pump itself but I had a 600 holley and had a lot different squirter sizes. I changed to smaller ones in order to lengthen the shot of fuel. I also bolted on a buddies Edelbrock. It was always the same thing. You could be right though. Like I...

I believe it is around 12 BTC is where it runs the best. I have played with that too. I got an MSD distributor too and switched the springs all around. The stall was my only explination.

better intake for the E303?

So what do you guys think about the Torker II for the E303? It was obvious with the C4 that the power really didn't kick until about 3000. I got the T5 now so it's not quite the same.
I got the RPM Performer now but the Torker II really sounds like it will match up with the cam better.

Vaccum Modulator???

Does the AOD have a vaccum modulator? I know I had a Bronco II that would go through them every couple of months but when it would go out it would upshift as soon as you accelerated.

Euro Ranger

The Euro Rangers are diesel and the have a lot more power than our 4 banger or atleast it feels like it with the turbo. In fact I think that is all they sell over here unless you buy from AFEES.

?

Lets face it though. This is just a 302. How serious of mud racing can you do. Go out and play sure but if it was that serious wouldn't you go for something with a little more balls and something lighter than an X cab? If it is seriuos enough to go for all out 4x4 than the radiator plumbing would ha...

Radiator

That is my point exactly. There is atleast 4 feet of radiator hose. I can understand mabe doing something like that is it is a full out race truck to elleminate a lot of weight but it is a 4X4!!! I would scared to even take it of road with the hoses under the truck like that. You are totally right o...

GT40p???

So whats up with th GT40P heads? I have a set of aluminum GT40s and the valves a reletivly small compared to most but the low comp ratio is good for running the cheapy gas. Next time around I will get the Twisted Wedge heads. They make a couple of sets with the larger valves and the large combustion...
