I'm actually looking into buying a real '37 Ford that's on an '83 Ranger frame. Still has the old 2.0L in it. Probably gonna bag it and make use of the 2.3L turbo I have sitting here.

I think that the backspacing with those wheels would set them too far in the fender well. Could always get spacers and push them back out...

I have American Racing Torque Thrust II wheels on my 94. They're 17x9 up front and 17x11 out back. Running 245/45 and 315/35 tires respectively. The wheels came off of a New Edge Mustang (99-04). The rears fit GREAT with the 315s on them. Up front I'm having no trouble steering-wise, but I am going ...

Well, it's not that I'm afraid to cut the floor out- it's just that I really would rather not. I had to cut the floor in my 88 Fox GT when I did the auto to manual swap. What I'm trying to do is to keep my truck as "factory" looking as possible. That means using "factory upgrades"...

I did the tailshaft housing and shifter linkage swap this afternoon. It was really pretty easy. The only problem I'm having is trying to figure out what to do for a speedometer. I left the Mustang T5 intact and just swapped the s10 parts to it. It seems as if first, the speedo outputs are in differe...

I'm going to run 2 1/2" pipe from my Tri Y collectors to a Y pipe and run single 3" pipe back to the stock location. It simplifies alot- 1 muffler (either a Magnaflow or a 40 series Flowmaster), 1 high flow cat, and one pipe. should sound pretty decent when it's done.

The deck height is what makes the the distributors different. Getting back to the cold thing- it sucks! I can't even get the damn truck finished.....

S10 T5 tailshaft conversion

What all is involved with this conversion?? Is it just the tailshaft housing and the shifter linkage or does the whole mainshaft need to be swapped? Also is it possible to use the S10 T5 with the Ford bellhousing?
Thanks.

Truck looks good- just needs some body and paint work now. Use pictiger.com to host your pics so everyone else can see them.

My brother and deleted all the computer garbage off his Jeep Wrangler. It's a '90 and is the last year for the carburated 258 inline 6. What does this have to do with a Ford Ranger?? Older Jeeps were still AMC products and used Ford Duraspark ignition systems. It ran 100x better after we took off th...

I wouldn't plug the cover... I'd just get a newer style one. Summit sells them and they're cheap (like $80). They're all made from aluminum and are prone to warping and cracking.

I'm guessing that the PIA harness is somehow connected to the switch on the clutch pedal?? The one where you have to push in the clutch to start the vehicle??
