Thanks Dave, I think I have it figured out now. I was confusing the 2001 wiring( from other's post ) With the 1998. The wiring On the 98 is sorta Plug and play. I will keep my fingers crossed. Now I get to play the waiting on parts game. Thanks again to all.

V8 swap dilemma. I'm New the the site, I have a 1998 ranger coil spring XLT Ext. cab. It is a 2.5 banger with a 5 speed trans. I purchased a 1997 Expolrer 5.0 with 4R70W transmission.
