The only real obstacles In the swan that needs modification is the heater box. you can draw out what you want to remove and reverse it zip strip it into place seal it and run it. Very Nice:) The 3 speed I have know only gets me 12-17 miles a gallon, it only has about 20K on it and works fine for now but I really dont like thats its vacuum not electric when it goes or when the right deal come around I'm putting a six speed manual. Very helpful post and Thanks!

When i said it was hard to start. This was in the morning at a cold start. I disconnected the electric choke and warmed her up good as I always do anyhow. Turns out when using the electronic chip in your distributer verses the points the timing will run between 32-35. If you unplug it it will be bet...

fortunately we found that out when we were tryin to first run the motor. We crossed referenced all firing orders to figure it out. I have a logonty radical cam with '68 headz big plug.

the build was abit confusing too. the firing order on this motor is that of a 351 HO 96 and up. Its a 93 5.0 HO roller motor. Can anyone tell me if its normal and why my truck runs best at 32.5 (BTDC)? I was told by the company who built my short block that they're running these engine at 14 BTDC. The books sy run it at 7 and I have a ford mechanic buddy who said this truck will rip and tare at 5. Anything less than where ...

any will from the part store will be fine. Just make sure you sand the chrome off anywhere that needs to be sealed with a gasket. this will ensure a secure hold.
