Can anyone recommend any affordable chrome valve covers for an 97 explorer GT40?
Looking to give a little look to the motor than the OEM black ones

Re: Usual Info on 4R70W transmission
I read that write up as well last night but had conflicting reviews of incorrect info from other ford truck & performance forums but I did add it to my favorites. It is certainly good info to reference.
Thanks for your advice chris,

Re: RPM jumps & rough idle & stall while in gear
I may have found my problem. I had a 97 motor & tranny & put a 2000 harness & tranny harness, ECU.They say 97 is the odd yr that had some issues on swapping but 98+ is highly recommended due to upgraded internals & better sync shifting. But the down side is that it is all computer co...

RPM jumps & rough idle & stall while in gear
Im having an issue with my build. When the truck turns on it idles fine at .875, then it slowly looks for an RPM from .875 -1000 and stays doing it once it warms up. It eventually dips to the point of 500-400rpm. However Once in gear the truck starts looking for an RPM a little harder & wants to...

Re: fuel pressure issue
It was until the light bulb popped up. The regulator is a nice work of CNC aluminum art. Its simple in design & mounted an aeromotive fuel pressure guage. To bad pro-comp electronics have not considered changing a simple spring to run on an EFI setup, instead of redesigning a whole other regulat...

Re: fuel pressure issue
Update: It turns out it was set for a carb setup & the company made a mistake on their marketing & was willing to refund me in full for the mistake. However I noted to tech if I replaced the spring in the regulator would it help & they said they were not sure but I could try it & fin...

fuel pressure issue
I recently bought a pro comp electronics fuel pressure regulator and hooked up everything the way it should be & when I turn my key to pre-adjust the regulator it only stays a 6psi. The regulator is functional up to 75psi. Im a little confused how come its not building up enough pressure to pre-...
