Somebodt correct me if I am wrong it has been a long time since I have worked on an older engine, but wouldn't there be a vacum leak on the oil filler cap above the big vacum going into the bottom of the carb. If I remember right that open tube (for lack of a better discription) needs a plug on it.

Who here if anybody are using a manual steering box? Is it hard to park or drive? I have power steering and it continually leaks and I am getting tired of it.

CJC It has approximately 20k on the engine and I changed the oil after the problem had started. WARPIG I use walmart brand 10w30.

I had the same problem with mine and it was the TFI on the side of the Dist. I changed it and off I went. I pulled the TFI off and had it tested and it snowed good but it wasn't so don't always trust having it tested.

I forgot the engine is from a 1986 Grand Marquis.
